ConnCORP and Beta Tau Health Equity Initiative

Keeping You Well

This issue of health equity isn't one that can be ignored. So we're working with the community to compile data, stories, and feedback to help our state's healthcare facilities and providers create a system that works for our communities, as defined by our communities.

Healthcare Providers Need to Hear from You

Help us create a healthcare system that works for our communities. Take the survey and tell healthcare provides what your concerns are and how to resolve them.

Take The Survey

ConnCORP and the Beta Tau Boule of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity have joined forces to form a health equity initiative to improve the health and wellness of Back and Brown communities in New Haven.  The ConnCORP and Beta Tau Health Equity Initiative (CBT) is beginning this effort by launching a statewide study to identify the root causes of mistrust in the health care system among communities of color in New Haven and publish solutions.

Through this initiative, CBT is committed to working with community members to compile stories and feedback to make the healthcare system work for our most vulnerable communities. With what is learned from the community responses, CBT will be creating a pocket guide to treating our communities so that physicians and healthcare providers do what is best for Black and Brown communities, as defined by them.

To keep you healthy and well during and after the pandemic, we'll be hosting a series of events, vaccine drives, and more to ensure our communities don't disproportionately face slower recovery than others.

Only by working together can we guarantee the best for our communities.

Register For Our Vaccine Drive

Ensuring our communities are protected during and through this pandemic means providing them with access to the COVID-19 vaccine in an equitable way. That's why we're partnering with Cornell Scott to host a vaccine drive on May 8th, 2021. Register now and join the movement to stay healthy and well in our community.
