A business and entrepreneurship education must play a significant role in helping to transform the Dixwell/Newhallville neighborhood. We fully expect that community leaders will emerge from the successful entrepreneurs and business owners that we will create, nourish, and grow.
The ConnCAT Community Economic Impact Lab (CCEIL) will be a learning and knowledge center. A laboratory for new ideas - a community “hub” and place to present, share, and exchange ideas about business ownership and entrepreneurship.
A place where new financial and business skills are taught and learned. A place where business principles and world class best practices are conveyed. A place where successful strategies and key learnings are shared. But most importantly, a place where aspiring entrepreneurs are likely to find like-minded peers who can provide support and encouragement
